Role Overview:
As a Buyer, you will play a key role in the Supply Chain team, ensuring efficient procurement processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and contributing to the company's core business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and on-time deliveries.
* Procurement & Cost Control: Source and purchase materials in alignment with business needs while maintaining approved inventory levels and cost efficiency.
* ERP & Data Accuracy: Maintain and update procurement records in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy in supplier details, pricing, and lead times.
* Stakeholder Communication: Provide timely and accurate updates on order status, supplier performance, and delivery schedules to internal teams.
* Inventory & Quality Assurance: Oversee inventory control, ensuring stock levels align with demand while addressing any supply chain disruptions.
* Returns & Supplier Coordination: Manage Return-to-Vendor processes, ensuring prompt returns and credit resolutions.
* Process Improvement & Project Management: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes and contribute to key supply chain projects.
What You Need to Succeed:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing procurement role.
* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
* Experience with Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
