Our client, an international bank based in London who offer excellent benefits and Hybrid working, currently seek a Relationship Manager - Commercial Real Estate to manage a portfolio of clients in the Scandinavian Nordic markets, building and maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding, circa 10+ years experience ideally of the commercial real estate landscape in Scandinavia, excellent Credit analysis and business development skills.
It is essential you are fluent in both English and a Scandinavian language.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and grow the existing portfolio of commercial real estate clients in the Scandinavian markets.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the commercial real estate industry, including developers, investors, and other financial institutions.
3. Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling banking products and services to clients, in collaboration with other teams within the bank.
4. Analyse credit risk and prepare credit proposals for new and existing clients.
5. Monitor the performance of the portfolio and ensure all credit facilities are in line with the bank's risk appetite and policies.
6. Work closely with internal teams to provide timely and effective solutions to clients' needs.
7. Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the bank.
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial real estate banking, with a focus on the Scandinavian markets.
2. Excellent credit analysis and risk assessment abilities.
3. Proven track record of developing and managing commercial real estate relationships in Scandinavia.
4. In-depth knowledge of the commercial real estate industry in Scandinavia and its key players.
5. Strong business development and relationship management skills.
6. Ability to work independently, with strong time management and organisational skills.
7. Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language is essential.
