Business Development Manager - Adult Social Care
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing and updating development procedures to ensure efficiency and quality.
* Monitoring the progression of new services, from initial referral through to successful placement.
* Collaborating with internal teams to address voids and ensure timely placements.
* Driving quality and financial viability of services, ensuring all services meet our standards and exceed customer expectations.
* Managing the operational and financial aspects of new services, ensuring effective budgeting and resource allocation.
* Contributing to bids, tenders, and business development initiatives.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders and agencies.
* Leading and mentoring a team, driving performance and professional growth.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in business development, operations management, or a similar role within social care.
* Strong understanding of service delivery, financial management, and quality assurance.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Health and Social Care Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
* Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
