Experience
Essential criteria
1. Significant post-graduate experience; including relevant experience in specialist field.
2. Experience of Quality Improvement and delivery of improvement projects.
3. Managing a complex caseload using an advanced clinical reasoning process.
4. Significant experience working as an autonomous practitioner.
Desirable criteria
1. Advanced service development skills.
2. MSc studies or equivalent at level 7.
3. Evidence of team management.
4. Experience of service development across professional boundaries.
Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria
1. Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
2. Current professional registration with HCPC.
3. Significant post graduate specialist education within relevant clinical area at level equivalent to Masters or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
1. Clinical specialist experience at band 7 level.
2. MSc within relevant specialty.
3. Post-graduate qualification up to post grad diploma level in relevant area.
4. Member of professional body/Specialist Interest Group.
5. Evidence of leadership courses/qualifications.
Aptitudes and ability

1. Autonomous practitioner with self-management skills.
