AWE's Nuclear Threat Reduction (NTR) Operations team are looking for an experienced person able to support logistics operations and maintenance of operational capabilities used to deliver the response capabilities that NTR are involved with when supporting other government departments. This can include projects, training, exercises, and real deployments.
NTR Associate Operations Specialist
Location: Reading
Salary: £28,420- £36,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

Within this role some of the tasks will involve completing operational planning, learning and development, capability management and validation activities, in accordance with relevant policies, processes and procedures, and supporting the development of future requirements for the operational response capability.
The successful candidate must have the following:
* Full, clean Category C+E DVLA licence and in date associated requirements including CPC and Digital Tachograph
* Extensive experience of driving commercial goods vehicles
In addition, it would be desirable for candidates to have the following:
* Forklift Truck qualification - either B1 or lorry demountable
* Slinging & Lifting / LOLER
* ADR Class 7
* Skills and experience of equipment maintenance
Applicants should also be:
* Well organised, punctual and flexible to changing circumstances
* Able to work alone or as part of a team
* Require minimal supervision
* Able to demonstrate a high regard for safety and security
* Willing to work across the UK and occasionally abroad as required
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
