This pivotal role is accountable for managing the end-to-end compliance and onboarding process providing candidates with a supportive and positive experience, ensuring all legislative requirements are met.
Main duties of the job
You will have a background in the ongoing compliance regulations and pre-employment checks surrounding all of our staff's compliance, onboarding, and training for all new additions to our team. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process, using your expertise to respond to all queries and questions from new joiners going through the compliance and onboarding process.
Job responsibilities
You’ll have the opportunity to deliver the following:
* Be the one point of contact during the compliance and onboarding process for the new joiner, clarifying the process stages and documentation required to meet our quality standards whilst balancing the updates to the business and meeting the client care deadlines to ensure quality care is provided on time.
* Conduct ‘Right to Work’ checks ensuring Home Office guidelines are followed and any new changes to Government policies are implemented.
* Arrange and organise specific and relevant clinical training for new joiners once the compliance process is complete, responding to any queries and questions from the candidate.
* Complete online contract information and send it digitally to new joiners via the Applicant Tracking System including any other relevant information which forms part of the onboarding process to support the candidate with any queries that may arise during this part of the process.
* Ensure final audit signoff process has been completed and finalised on the HR System (One Touch). Final Audit Document is signed off by the Director of Operations.
* Ensure the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) process is followed correctly in a timely manner.
* Accountable for ensuring all legal documents produced are correctly documented and held within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HR System (One Touch), in accordance with GDPR.
* Respond and review processes and policies as/when there are legislation changes come into place, communicating to colleagues and stakeholders how the changes will impact the day-to-day process.
* Conduct online research, join specific groups on LinkedIn, attend appropriate training and development workshops and events to ensure up-to-date knowledge and changes in regulatory compliance.
* Conduct internal compliance audits to ensure all Carer files meet regulatory requirements.

* Experience of delivering process improvements.
* Ability to report on and analyse inputs, trends, and performance.
* Ability to conduct mini and full compliance audits.
* Good Excel experience to capture, manage and analyse data.
* Previous experience in health and social care; or a CQC or Ofsted regulated environment would also be beneficial.
