This role reports to the Operations Director with a dotted line to SHEQ Director. In this role your prime responsibilities are:
1. To maintain and support the training programme, including the maintenance of training records, maintaining the training plan budget, booking training and managing attendance to training sessions.
2. Support management system audits which involve carrying out audits, logging corrective actions, non-conformance and allocating owners to actions that need to be taken, writing up results and logging issues raised with the action plan.
3. To provide support to the Fleet Department (Wolverhampton) updating vehicle and driver compliance and processing all legal documentation for the fleet.
4. To manage the supplier approval process and process all Subcontract Orders.
5. To review, flag any issues and approve all expenses.
6. Review fines, ensure any monies owing to Geobear are collected via payroll, pay fines that need paying, log on to master spreadsheet.
7. Review hotel bookings and expenses to ensure compliance with business policy.
8. Review of vehicle and fuel usage and ensure compliance with business policy.
9. Review of operational teams’ hours booked and highlight non-conformances.
10. Ensure processes and procedures are in place and adhered to.
11. To ensure that safety and compliance standards are maintained and any issues are addressed immediately.
12. Support in scheduling during periods of leave within the scheduling team.

6. Initiative and confidence – Applicants should be able to demonstrate a willingness to contribute new ideas to improve things and should be able to determine when to refer a matter to someone else or whether to deal with it themselves.
