The Development Officer (Annual Giving) plays a critical role in generating philanthropic support for the College from alumni and well-wishers. Responsibilities of the role include:
1. Overseeing the annual Telephone Campaign/Giving day.
2. Working closely with senior fundraisers.
3. Stewardship of Annual Giving prospects and donors.
The success of the Development Office depends on the flexibility and ethos of its staff. The role holder will be required to participate in activities outside the core job description that are important to the overall development programme and the College. The role requires some work in the evenings and at weekends.
You will have excellent organisational skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative using tact and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits
The annual salary will be between £30,000 and £34,000 p.a. This is a full-time role of 36.25 hours per week.
Included in the benefits package are lunch, membership of a defined contribution pension scheme, membership of a medical cashback scheme, parking, and a non-contractual bonus paid in November of each year subject to eligibility.
