4. Ensuring accurate recording of employees' work hours, deductions, and leaves.
5. Preparing and submitting reports on payroll activities to the management.
6. Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee queries regarding payroll issues.
7. Staying updated on taxation and employment laws affecting payroll.
8. Collaborating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
9. Assisting in payroll audits and implementing improvements in the payroll system.
10. Handling payroll-related documentation and maintaining confidentiality.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Clerk should have:
