Ideally with a water resources management or programming and big data management background, we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate a sound understanding in these areas and are great at communicating complex analysis through visualisation.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Our Supply Team plays a crucial role in drought management and provides expert advice across the company to projects and programmes of work which support the company goals.
You will work with our stakeholders to build core datasets which will be used in both our water resources management plans and business plans and undertake investigations so that we have the best evidence available from which we can make sound decisions.
If you join our team, you can expect to use and build your skills as you work across several different areas, including:
* Supporting the delivery of high quality, reliable and auditable outputs from our water resources and hydrological modelling tools (PyWR, Aquator, GR6J, Headroom and outage etc.) This modelling includes scenarios such as climate change, drought severity, restoring sustainable abstraction and associated changes to abstraction licences.
* Helping to shape the company’s long term water resources and supply strategy.
* Helping to assess the benefit of capital schemes to ensure they are consistent with our long term water resources strategy.
* Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
* Providing support and data to regional water resources planning groups.

* Providing data to help build the Drought Plan and supporting the team with analysis during drought events.
