My client is a national main contractor who is working on a major Civil Engineering contract in the West Midlands (HS2). They are seeking a Finance Administrator to assist the Accounts Team with the collation, reconciliation, and reporting of data, and to provide cost and budget advice to the wider project teams. The successful candidate will have good IT skills, including a conversant understanding of Excel and Word. Construction or Civil Engineering experience is desirable.
Typical Duties:
1. Assist with the cost control of various sites
2. Active participation in weekly planned vs. actual resource usage
3. Accurate and timely cost collation from site records
4. Regular reconciliation of costs with budget
5. Preparation of cost reports
