Wood is recruiting for a Lead Subsea Hardware Engineer to join the team to support projects within our Technical Consulting Division. This role will be based in our Staines office with some hybrid working available on a contract basis.

The Role
As a Lead Subsea Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, and implementation of subsea hardware systems for offshore oil and gas projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to lead a team of engineers in delivering high-quality subsea hardware solutions.

Expected:
6. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
7. Considerable relevant experience in Subsea Hardware Engineering with an emphasis on subsea trees, wellheads, connectors including the delivery of this equipment
8. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) with the ability to interface directly with clients and internal departments
9. Strong time-management and organizational skills
10. Excellent MS Office Suite knowledge
11. Chartered engineer status is desirable
