What’s in the role and what are we looking for?
We are recruiting for a Trainee Stock Allocator, to join our Stock Control team at our Head Office in Altrincham. This is an entry level role and would be suitable for a recent graduate. You will support the Senior Allocator and Allocations Manager in managing the stock packages of our 85 stores nationally – ensuring that the correct stock is in the correct place.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
1. Creating and managing spreadsheets
2. Analysing sales and stock data
3. Assisting with the production of weekly/monthly reports
4. Data entry
5. Liaising with our Store Ops team, Store Managers and the Merchandising team at Head office
6. Supporting the senior members of the team in any other additional tasks
Your Profile
7. An affinity for Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
8. Excellent communication skills
9. Strong at prioritising workload, and with a flexible attitude to a change in priorities
10. Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated
11. Pays close attention to detail, and is very analytical in your approach
12. Professionalism is maintained at all times
13. Can work at a steady pace, and complete routine jobs to a schedule
14. Is happy working with both by yourself and as part of a team. The role involves a significant amount of solo work
