Stores / Tooling Engineer

We are seeking a professional Stores / Tooling Engineer to join an existing team in the Canley area of Coventry.
The main objective of a stores and tooling engineer is to assist in ensuring components are produced correctly by supplying correct and accurate tooling to operatives.
Key responsibilities of a Stores / Tooling Engineer:
* Ensure tooling is returned to correct location.
* Ensure machine processes are running at optimum efficiency in regards the tooling required.
* Ensure tooling is set correctly and accurately ready for use by operators.
* Ensure all components must be clearly always identified with the use of a Route Card or Split Batch.
* Ensure machines are locked off prior to clean down.
* Ensure coolant is mixed to manufacturers specification as per COSHH instruction.
* Ensure all deliveries are checked correctly before signing.
* Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
Requirements for the stores / tooling engineer role:
* You must come from a similar role within a engineering environment
* You must be comfortable liaising with different departments both internal and external at all levels of internal and external
* You must have a good knowledge of components and processes alongside health and safety regulations.
* You must be computer literate in Microsoft packages including outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint etc.
