We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Manager to lead and develop the Outpatient Services Team over all 5 of our hospital sites.The Outpatient Services Team are based at York, Scarborough, Malton, Selby and Bridlington Hospitals and comprises of over 72 WTE.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery and development of improved outpatient performance across the Trust.
The post holder will be required to work closely with Trust operational teams, and the outpatient services team to understand current processes and to critically appraise how these can be improved to meet the national performance requirements whilst creating a sustainable and robust support service. The post holder will be required to lead change and support teams through the change cycle, and will be accountable for performance delivery against the recovery milestones.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who has a proven track record of operational leadership and performance delivery with a particular interest in using performance data (qualitative and quantitative) to help us develop strategies and deliver measurable outcomes.
The post holder will oversee all aspects of the Outpatient Services Department, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care, whilst managing budgets, staffing, operational and performance targets.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the management of the Outpatient Services Teams, providing support and leadership across the Department. You will work in partnership with the clinical care groups, and represent the senior leadership team for outpatient services, charged with delivering outpatient support services for the Clinical Care Groups, shaping services and a workforce that will drive forward our commitment to outstanding care.
You will take the lead for the operational delivery of key performance indicators for outpatients services and a key stakeholder in the delivery of the outpatient improvement programme.
You will be strategic in your understanding of the importance of operational services, and how different parts of the system impact on each other, while remaining calm and decisive in times of escalation. You will be a strong communicator with the influencing skills, political astuteness and resilience to ensure patient safety, quality, access and a positive patient and carer experience is upheld.
We are looking for an experienced operational manager who can bring a strong leadership and delivery focus to one of our essential support function. You will be part of a very supportive and proactive senior leadership team, within the Corporate Operations Team.
