Belcan Workforce Solutions are seeking a Communications Lead on a 6-month contract to join their Communications Project Team Our client is in the process of acquiring the trade and assets of a key supplier in Belfast. To support this transition, they are establishing a new company. They are seeking an experienced Interim Communications Lead to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a comprehensive communications plan for the acquisition and integration process. The client is offering £39.98 per hour Umbrella, the role is Inside of IR35. This is a hybrid opportunity and will require a minimum of 3 days per week on-site in Broughton. Key Responsibilities: Communications Set-up: Establish and align the communications framework. Internal Communications: Develop and implement interim and long-term internal communications tools and channels to support the on-boarding of new colleagues. Messaging and Materials: Collaborate with the project team to define and deliver key messaging and communications materials during the transition phase. External Communications: Work with the wider UK and global communications teams, as well as the public affairs team, to ensure consistent messaging to external audiences. Required Qualifications and Competencies: Experience: Proven experience in communications, including internal, external, and community relations. M&A Environment: Familiarity with communications in a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) environment, as well as transformation and change management. Local Insight: Knowledge of Northern Ireland as an operating environment. Strategic and Tactical Skills: Ability to define and execute communications plans, think strategically, and implement quickly. Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to connect with various stakeholders across functions and divisions. Content Creation: Excellent writing and content creation skills. Event Management: Capability to manage events effectively. Media Relations: Understanding of local UK media and ability to engage with them effectively. Community Relations: Ability to engage with a wide range of community stakeholders. Internal Channels: Proficiency in using internal communications channels to engage with colleagues across the business. Some travel to Belfast will be required.
