Overview of the role
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Elms Square Precinct in Whitefield.
This community pharmacy is commutable from all locations in Greater Manchester and is located in a shopping precinct. It has a strong relationship with the local GP surgery/health centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:
* It dispenses 2,440 - 2,500 items a week.
* It provides a wide range of services including NMS, Blood pressure, Pharmacy First, Discharge medication, Covid and Flu vaccinations, and Contraception.
* It provides services to 3x daily and 6x weekly substance misuse patients.
* It dispenses 50 community blisters per month.
This pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 9-6pm and Saturday 9-1pm.
The team consists of 5 members of staff who work a combined total of 128 hours. There is one member of staff who is a trainee who is estimated to complete by June next year.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent, and management experience is required for this opportunity. You'll be focused on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers. You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits. We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.
We are focused on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
