Year 2 Teacher (Maternity Cover) Position : Year 2 Primary Teacher Location : Newcastle Pay : £120-£150 per day Working Hours : Monday to Friday Start Date : Monday, 6th January A friendly and inclusive primary school in Newcastle is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Primary Teacher to cover a maternity leave. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of Year 2 students. Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes learning and personal growth. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a curriculum aligned with national standards. Track and evaluate student progress using a variety of assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to students and parents. Maintain effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and productive learning environment. Qualifications and Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Key Stage 1. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in young children.
