Chroma are currently working with a nationally recognised specialist in the oil and gas industry who are looking for a Digital Technology Engineer to join their team. As a Digital Technology Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge projects that are driving digital innovation in the gas industry. Your work will ensure the highest cybersecurity standards while implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and performance. This hands-on role involves a variety of technical responsibilities, including configuring and troubleshooting routers, setting up and managing firewalls, and maintaining secure network infrastructures.
Essential Skills:
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles
* Advanced proficiency in networking
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with industrial automation technologies
* Understanding of PLC programming
* Familiarity with IEC62443 standards
A valid driving license is essential for this role, as approximately 40% of your time will be spent visiting client sites.
