A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to be part of our team. We are looking for a Fitness Manager, working as a Fitness Manager you will be leading a team ensuring exceptional service is delivered at all times. We are looking for someone to increase activity levels at the site, maximising sales and income generation, offering support, working in the gym, fitness advice and knowledge to help people go further in their training.
You will also be managing our Exercise Referral Programme, you will play a vital role in supporting, developing, and managing health referral-based exercise programs aimed at enhancing the health outcomes of our community.
So that the scheme can be monitored and evaluated effectively you will be collaborating with local partners, overseeing program delivery, and fostering relationships to drive positive impact.

Hours: 37 hours a week - Monday to Sunday - Rota Basis
Requirements
1. A relevant Level 3 Fitness Qualification
2. Proven experience in working alongside patients with a range of health conditions
3. Experience in creating, planning and delivering exercise programmes, both one to one and in groups
4. An awareness/understanding of local health inequalities
5. Able to present and work with a mixture of partners, in the health system and sporting networks
6. Experience of problem solving, organizational customer service and staff management
7. Experience of at least three years in a fitness facility
8. Strong people management skills
9. A high awareness of industry developments, new activities, trends and research
10. Good commercial awareness which translates into a successful and financially viable operation
11. A passion for the industry demonstrated through continuous professional development
12. Well developed interpersonal skills, able to negotiate and persuade people both internally and externally
13. Excellent time management skills – able to deal with a number of priorities at once
14. A self starter who inspires others with their passion and energy
15. Excellent communication skills, able to think your feet
16. To be able to work flexibly with a good level of autonomy
17. Team orientated approach, able to work across the organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues
Desirable
18. Level 4 Qualification Cancer Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab or any other relevant qualifications
19. Safeguarding & Child Protection
20. First Aid
21. At least 12 months experience as a level 3 Exercise Referral Instructor
