Job Title : Compliance Officer Location : Milton Keynes To support and contribute to the profitability of Lambert Smith Hampton Property & Asset Management by providing legal help and assistance in relation to Risk and Compliance management. Lambert Smith Hampton Property & Asset Management encompasses both commercial property management to shopping centres, offices and public buildings and residential property services through HLM Property Management, one of the largest block management companies in the country. HLM Property Management deals with the management of communal areas of residential buildings on behalf of major developer clients, independent landlords and resident management companies. The Professional Services Division is a small in-house legal department within Lambert Smith Hampton Estate & Asset Management dealing with all aspects of legal work, particularly claims (Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and County Court) complaints and compliance. Responsibilities Assisting the Professional Services Division by carrying out research, investigating claims and providing reports on liability as required Drafting letters and defences in respect of claims under the guidance of the Specialist Caseworker Researching and drafting advices under the guidance of the Specialist Caseworker Undertaking training in respect of Professional Indemnity, Public Liability, and County Court Claims We understand the value that a diverse and inclusive working environment brings to Lambert Smith Hampton.
