The Mortgage Product team are a proactive team that focuses on the lending proposition for the Group, looking for ways to develop new products and enter new product sectors whilst ensuring we are meeting customers’ needs and expectations. The Senior Commercial and Bridging Proposition Manager is a newly created role for someone with deep specialist sector knowledge and experience that is looking for an opportunity to have real autonomy and play a leading-role in shaping and developing the Commercial & Bridging proposition - with responsibilities ranging from ideation all the way through to market launch. The role reports into the Head of Mortgage Proposition Development and will be key to developing and delivering innovative propositions across our Commercial and Bridging offerings. This role can be based from any of our offices and will require occasional travel between all OSB Group locations. As Senior Commercial and Bridging Proposition Manager you will have a hands-on approach to manage activities that deliver new and enhanced Propositions, designed to achieve and optimise lending volume and margin targets in the Commercial & Bridging lending markets in line with Group objectives and commercial strategies. Your responsibilities will include: Lead the end-to-end development of mortgage propositions for Commercial & Bridging lending markets, from concept through to launch, ensuring they are aligned with market trends, customer needs, and business objectives Lead cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Credit Risk, Underwriting, Operations and IT to define, agree and deliver enhancements to Commercial & Bridging propositions, providing solutions that address the specific needs of the Group’s target market in key Commercial & Bridging sub-segments Lead detailed market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing propositions in the Regulated space and use insights to shape product strategy and positioning Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and enhanced products, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities Creating and presenting Governance papers and progress/ performance updates regarding Commercial & Bridging sectors to senior stakeholders at key forums Work with the wider Product & Proposition team to develop effective and timely MI to track and analyse the performance of Commercial & Bridging propositions With a number of exciting opportunities in this role, you will be part of the transformation project which will create a new operating platform for the business. We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below: Substantial experience developing new Commercial & Bridging lending propositions with a strong track record of delivering change and driving growth in these market sectors Previous experience of building propositions using a combination of market, competitor, customer and staff insights Experience and ability to write business requirements/cases showcasing designed end-to-end journeys and develop Go-to-Market strategies Detailed knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements Knowledge and experience of Commercial Mortgage & Bridging products, market trends, and customer needs within the UK Mortgage market, including specialist lending sector Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels We also believe that your career and how you progress is as unique as your individual personality.
