We are seeking a full-time team member for our Bristol Portbury location. Working pattern to discuss, ideally onsite but we are open for hybrid or remote.
The ideal candidate will have some supply chain experience and be eager to learn in a dynamic, challenging and ever-changing supply chain environment.
Responsibilities include managing purchase orders, ensuring timely arrivals, addressing supply issues, liaising with the supply chain team, handling delivery schedules in SAP, resolving goods inwards issues, supporting accounts payable, and maintaining raw material stock levels. Key responsibilities
1. Review Raw Material requisitions and issue PO's according to lead time.
2. Monitor vendor confirmations to validate delivery dates. Act on variances.
3. Review overdue PO's each morning and follow up with suppliers. Escalate issues.
4. Monitor the Portbury Call Off email inbox on a daily basis and action relevant emails.
5. Carry out actions as per Daily Task List, and update daily as actions completed.
6. Provide clear, timely communication of Supply issues via SAP cockpits.
7. Check and maintain relevant Master Data including NPI.
8. Manage the F&R process to avoid service issues or stock write offs.
9. Monitor shelf life regularly and work with the supplier, Quality and Warehouse to extend as required.
10. Carry out actions assigned by the Inventory Analyst from Stock at Risk reporting.
11. Respond to Plan Release queries in a timely manner.
Qualifications and skills
12. Ideally, candidate will be qualified to degree level.
13. FMCG industry experience. Food preferred, but not mandatory.
14. First Supply chain experience.
15. Detailed ERP knowledge of the purchasing & material planning modules in a manufacturing environment. SAP a distinct advantage.
16. Microsoft Excel.
17. APICS Qualification desirable.
18. Driving license.
