The Role
The post holder will be a Registered Nurse who will support the community nursing service in the delivery of the highest quality of health care and will be responsible and accountable for providing skilled nursing interventions as appropriate. The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.
The post holder will be expected to provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality and effective care service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with patients, care providers and other agencies.

What we'll need you to bring
* Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
* The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
* Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent time management skills
* Working knowledge of basic information technology
* Car Driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence.
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have
* Evidence of further education/continuous professional development
* Current or recent experience in Primary Care as a Registered Nurse
* Experience of working in the community
* Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to work using own initiative
* The post holder will be expected to provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community

Please note this may be considered to be a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in ICST 1 within Hunter Health Centre
The working pattern for this role will be confirmed by the hiring manager
