About your new Maintenance Operative job in Bishopbriggs: - An excellent opportunity to join our public sector client in Bishopbriggs where you'll be involved in general handyman jobs - An excellent opportunity to enhance your skills - Weekly pay - guaranteed weekly hours - Mon to Thurs 7.30am - 3.30pm or - Mon 8am-4pm, early finish Friday's Responsibilities: You will support the Area Estates team to carry out basic routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair tasks. - Undertake minor repair tasks, training will be provided where required - Supported by the engineering team, you may also carry out allocated tasks involving, inspecting fire systems, equipment maintenance testing and inspection - Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment and reporting any dangers/deficiencies. - Carry out external ground's maintenance. About you: You will be reliable, dedicated and serious about taking on a full-time role with our public sector client. Ideal if you're experienced in maintenance tasks - Skills and experience in using and handling tools and equipment - Experience in carrying out basic domestic maintenance repair tasks an advantage - A basic understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace - Must be able to pass a Basic Disclosure or already have one.
