We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a friendly finance team based in Bristol on a part time basis. Key Responsibilities: Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner Matching purchase orders and delivery notes to invoices Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely payments to suppliers Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to handle queries Requirements: Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) is advantageous Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and manage time effectively AAT qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential Artis Recruitment provide specialist recruitment services within HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, Marketing, Customer Contact and Executive Search.
