Lead Endocrinology Nurse Specialist Band 8A 22.3 hours
A very rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified individual to undertake the role of Lead Endocrinology Nurse Specialist based at the David Anderson Building.
The post involves managing and providing leadership to a small team of Endocrine Nurse Specialists. The post holder is responsible for maintaining compliance with guidelines and develops policies and procedures for use within the speciality of Endocrinology.
The successful candidate will have evidence of working as an autonomous, expert practitioner providing clinical advice and teaching/ training to patients, relatives, carers and other healthcare professionals.
There is a requirement for the post holder to have already undertaken a Masters degree or diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice. Any candidates who have not undertaken this must be willing to work towards this qualification.
The successful individual must be able to demonstrate their abilities at level 8 of the NMAHP development framework.
