Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 4 students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. You will assist with learning in core subjects and help create a positive and structured environment for students to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide targeted support in core subjects (Maths, English, Science).
2. Manage challenging behaviour and promote positive engagement in lessons.
3. Build strong, supportive relationships with students to encourage social and emotional development.
4. Contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
5. Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
6. Strong behaviour management skills.
7. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
8. Commitment to student welfare and development.
