We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Events Operations Manager to lead the planning and execution of our weddings, corporate events, and private functions. About the Role:
As Events Operations Manager, you will take ownership of all weddings, conferences, and events at Lough Erne Resort. From intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, your leadership will ensure every event is flawlessly executed, leaving our guests with lasting memories. You’ll work closely with clients, the events team, and operational departments to deliver seamless service that reflects the resort’s 5-star standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Event Operations: Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all weddings, conferences, and banqueting events, ensuring every detail is perfect.
2. Team Leadership: Manage, train, and inspire the C&B team to deliver exceptional service with professionalism and enthusiasm.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with the Events Team, Sales, Kitchen, and Front Office teams to ensure smooth coordination across all departments.
4. Attention to Detail: Ensure all room setups, menus, AV requirements, and timelines are meticulously executed.
5. Revenue Management: Maximise profitability through effective cost control, upselling opportunities, and efficient resource management.
6. Guest Satisfaction: Respond to client feedback and resolve any issues promptly, maintaining the resort’s reputation for excellence.
7. Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and resort policies at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Conference & Banqueting Manager or similar role
* A passion for hospitality and a dedication to creating memorable guest experiences.
* Outstanding organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
* Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
* Financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and maximising profitability.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of our events schedule.
