Are you a dynamic Designer with an innovative portfolio to match? Are you looking for opportunities to step up into the role of Senior Associate Director within our Aviation team and expand your experience across international projects?
As a Senior Associate Director with proven aviation experience, within Benoy you will lead and inspire multiple teams, ensuring that our innovative and thought-provoking large-scale international projects meet high-quality design standards and are delivered on time and within budget. You will guide your junior colleagues across Benoy to help them reach their full potential.
In addition to developing leads and generating new business across existing and future sectors and markets, you will also play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of corporate-level business development strategies. You will operate autonomously, requiring only minimal supervision from the Director.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven aviation experience.
* Experience leading and managing a team across large scale international projects.
* Proactive approach to client management, with a proven track record of engaging potential clients and partners.
* Commercially astute, demonstrated through effective decision making, project resourcing and management.
* Strong organisational and people management skills, encouraging collaboration and innovation within the teams to maximise performance.
* Proficiency with computer applications commonly used within the individual’s discipline.
* Degree in related design field or equivalent certification or skill level.
* Professional registration or equivalent preferred.

Project Delivery
* Hold accountability for the successful delivery of multiple projects that meet high quality standards.
* Acts as an established expert in a particular design and/or technical area.
* Ensure oversight of the entire project process, maintaining involvement throughout.
* Proactively manage existing client relationships and ensure that opportunities for repeat work are maximised.
Leadership
* Role model Benoy’s values and foster a collaborative environment in which innovation is encouraged and best practice shared.
* Work with HR business partners to build and foster strong teams, leading, guiding and providing training to juniors to support their professional and creative development.
* Initiate studio or group activities, lead brainstorming sessions and manage conflicts effectively.
Client Relationships
* Operate as the primary point of contact for clients, making significant contributions during client meetings and presentations.
* Work with PR, MarComms and BD teams to develop new business, enhancing internal and external communication via functions, events, forums and publications.
* Lead the preparation of fee bids, and undertake fee proposals and fee negotiations for projects.
Budget Control
* Demonstrate a thorough understanding of cost control, fee charging and project finance, and ensure project fees are maximised without threat to client relationship and repeat work.
