We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Front Office Manager to join our team on a Full-time basis.
About the role
The role involves leading the reception team, but also leading by example, as well as hands-on reception tasks, including delivering effortless guest experiences, providing friendly, personalised customer service in responding to accommodation enquiries, promoting the business to achieve sales targets, processing reservations and ensuring full and accurate data capture, assisting corporate and leisure guests, and ensuring the smooth running of the reception team and function. A key element of your role will also encompass guest service excellence with responding to reviews, feedback and improvement with the Quest vision first and foremost ensuring we make corporate stay effortless.
Your team leadership activities will involve recruitment, rostering, training and leadership of the front office team to ensure high levels of work productivity and quality, positive employee engagement and retention, and strong alignment with Quest’s established model and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will demonstrate passion for customer service, a superb telephone manner, advanced skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, experience with front office booking systems, strong attention to detail, and high standards of personal presentation.
We are looking for a highly motivated, team-focused person, who has a strong understanding of brand value, customer engagement and sales techniques, and has proven experience with team leadership, including familiarity with recruitment, rostering, and performance management.
Prior experience in a reservations/front office role in the accommodation industry and a minimum of 3 years' people supervisory experience is a must. Experience with RMS property management systems would be very highly regarded.
The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
