Part-time finance assistant based in Skelmersdale, office-based role. £28,000 - £30,000 (this is a full-time salary therefore it will be pro rata dependent on hours worked)
The Role:
My client is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to support and work closely with the Financial Controller. This position is office-based and has scope for further progression. The role is 16-20 hours per week over 3+ days.
The Responsibilities
Sales Ledger
* Processing sales invoices on Sage 50 & EDI
* Processing Recharge invoices
* Processing customer receipts
* Credit control is mostly via Customer Portals
* Sorting queries as they arise
* Maintaining the Sales Ledger
* Maintaining Invoice finance
Purchase Ledger
* Processing of purchase ledger invoices on Sage 50
* Product invoices on PO System
* Other invoices send for approval & process manually
* Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
* Maintaining the Purchase Ledger
The Skills/Abilities/Behaviours
+ Previous experience of Sales and/or Purchase ledger is essential
+ Experience of Sage 50 & EDI desirable but not essential
+ Have attention to detail
+ Must be able to work on own initiative
You must have the right to work in the UK, and be able to get to Skelmersdale each day to work
