Accountancy Recruit is partnering with a family run oil provider in the recruitment of a Finance Manager based in Caldicot, South Wales. The company is well established, providing outstanding customer service by a committed team.The purpose of the role is to maintain the company’s finance and payroll functions, with the support of two Finance Assistants. This is a busy, fast paced environment with a high-volume customer base, which needs focused attention to ensure that the day-to-day transactions are running smoothly, pricing is correct and therefore the month end process is efficient.Duties Ensure the smooth day to day running of the company finance function with the support of two Finance Assistance. Overseeing and maintenance of the Sales and Purchase Ledgers Bank reconciliations Overseeing credit control Processing the payroll using Sage for 22 employees Closing month end accounts and journals Preparing accruals, prepayments, P&L and balance sheet Weekly cash flow reporting Working closely with the Managing Director and advising on areas for improvement, cost savings, risk management, etc. Requirements & Skills AAT or Qualified by Experience Attention to detail to ensure financial reports and data are accurate and complete Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management and organisational skills Strong communication skills both written and verbal Remuneration Salary: £42-44.000 paBonus: Biannually, up to £7,000 paHours: Permanent Monday to FridayHolidays: 20 days plus bank holidaysPension: Auto enrolmentParkingOffice based
