Vacancy Description
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Undertaking general office duties, for example, answering the telephone, taking messages, filing, photocopying, handling incoming and outgoing post and parcels. Direct contact with internal departments and external companies via reception, telephone, and email.
2. Developing and maintaining administrative support systems, including manual and electronic filing systems, ensuring that systems are effective and reviewed regularly. Record and securely store information relating to confidential matters and enquiries.
3. Working on various software applications including the trust's medical device database, the trust ordering system, health & safety software, and staff training systems.
4. Through completion of this apprenticeship, you will gain comprehensive training in the role of an administrator while obtaining valuable work experience; this will underpin your competency in the workplace and develop a wide range of transferable customer service skills.
Administrative tasks:
1. Maintaining files, organising meetings, preparing documents, and supporting with archiving.
2. Communication: Interacting with members of staff and the public if required to represent the business.
3. Project management: Using project management tools to plan, monitor, and report.
4. Using IT packages and systems to write emails and maintain record keeping.
5. Relationship building: Building and maintaining positive relationships with the team across the business.
