KS1 SEMH Teacher January start ideally Special school Full-time / Long-term KS1 class SEMH, ASD & ADHD We're working on behalf of a fantastic special school based in the Newbury area that are looking for a teacher to join the team from January (ideally). The school look after students with a range of special needs but are primarily focused around Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH). The primary site are a fantastic little site based in a fantastic location. They're very proud of the tight knit team of friendly staff, they always are on the lookout for similarly friendly people The role The vacancy that has arisen in a KS1 class of 8 students where you would be ably supported by 2 permanent TA's in the class. You will be expected to plan & mark your own lessons following the primary curriculum. Experience of having worked with SEMH in some capacity is preferred. You must feel confident dealing with challenging behaviour and have a genuine desire to work with SEMH students.
