We are on the lookout for a Transport Supervisor to take charge of fleet operations, lead a team of professional drivers, and ensure top-tier service delivery every single day. If you are ready to make an impact and thrive under pressure, we want to hear from you.
What You will Be Doing:
Lead from the front-briefing and debriefing drivers and keeping communication clear and consistent.
Keep the wheels turning, plan and manage vehicle loading and dispatch with precision.
Drive continuous improvement, track driver performance using system, deliver coaching, and arrange development sessions with the Driver Standards Manager.
Maintain service excellence, monitor payloads, telemetry systems, and ensure delivery targets are consistently hit.
Stay ahead of the curve, collaborate with key teams to ensure full fleet availability and stock continuity.
Keep the data flowing, accurately input daily fuel usage, driver worksheets, and generate purchase orders.
Be the go-to leader, oversee warehouse operations and health & safety out-of-hours, ensuring smooth handovers and safe operations.
What You will Bring:
Must-Haves:
Proven experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role.
Strong leadership qualities with a hands-on, proactive approach.
Comfortable with IT systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and distribution management tools.
Excellent numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Haves:
Background in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment.
Familiarity with transport systems like Isotrak and telemetry tracking.
Experience managing warehouse operations and out-of-hours safety protocols.
