Job Title: Social Worker - Adult - Band 7 within Adult Social Care and Health

We are seeking an enthusiastic Social Worker to manage a varied and complex caseload. As a Band 7 Social Worker, you will be pivotal in safeguarding, support planning, and promoting the wellbeing of adults in Liverpool.

What you will do:
* Effectively manage a complex and varied caseload with appropriate supervision and support.
* Prepare written reports and statements for Court hearings and engage in applications to the Court of Protection.
* Make informed, complex decisions using evidence-based tools and critical reflection.
* Communicate confidently in high-risk or complex situations, and represent the department in multi-disciplinary forums.
* Work directly with service users, carers, and families to safeguard adults, adhering to interagency policies and procedures.
* Develop and evaluate individual support plans, ensuring ongoing monitoring and review.
* Collaborate with other allied health professionals to deliver integrated services, and possibly take part in an out-of-hours rota.
* Directly Responsible To Team Leader.
Qualification and training:
* Dip SW, BA or MA Social Work or equivalent / or due to receive qualification within next 5 months following application.
* Social Work England registered or due to receive registration within the next 5 months following application.
