This role can be fulfilled remotely from anywhere in the UK and is paying £25k -£34k +bonus and pension.

THE ROLE:
Automated and manual testing of mobile and web platform components. The current focus is on manual testing, with automated testing to follow in a future phase. Create and maintain (end-to-end) test cases and corresponding processes to ensure optimal test coverage and efficiency.
The work environment is within the existing Test Team and alongside a Software Engineer Team (mobile, Back- and Front End), a Platform Engineer Team, UI/UX designer, Config Specialists, and Product Owners.
DUTIES:
* Create test scripts
* Optimise and refine existing test cases
* Integration testing, Static testing, Regression testing, Acceptance testing, Accessibility testing, User Interface Testing, and Business Acceptance Testing
* Running test scripts, recording evidence, documenting, and reporting issues found
* Identifying defect root causes (stack traces, code, log files, and other artefacts)
* Work with the Developers and Config Specialists to help recreate issues and act as a point of contact
* Provide time estimates on required testing activities
* Automate the existing manual end-to-end test scripts

Requirements:
* 2 years testing/QA experience
* Solid knowledge of test principles and best practices
* Automation Test Framework experience using Selenium
* Java programming affinity/experience compatible with the Junior+ level function - ideally with IntelliJ or Eclipse
