Calderdale College is looking to recruit and enthusiastic and committed individual join the team at The Engineering Centre (TEC) a satellite campus specialising in Engineering, Motor Vehicle and Electrical apprenticeships.
This role requires someone who is willing to turn their hand to different challenges, with ability to motivate and mentor apprentices to ensure they progress and achieve their qualifications including Functional Skills. As a Progress and support Tutor you will work closely with the Programme Leads, Lecturers and Trainer/Assessors to ensure the support needs of the apprentices are being fully met. Experience of working in an educational setting or in Engineering, Motor Vehicle and Electrical would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to support the delivery of contextualised maths and English at level 2, in return we offer plenty of opportunities to develop and being part of a supportive team who all contribute to the continued growth and development of the centre.
