Location – Scotland, Flexible Contract Type – Fixed term for an initial 14 months Working Hours – Full time Closing Date – 19 September 2024 About About the role We are looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to join us for approximately 15 hours/2 days per week on an initial 14 month basis. This contract may be extended/made permanent depending on business needs. You will be responsible for providing a compliant and proactive occupational health and wellbeing service to RWE sites. In addition, you will support the continuing development of the company's nurser led shared service and to improve and diversify the function in line with the needs of the business and our employees. For this role, we can offer a Home Based contract but with travel supporting our sites in Scotland, in particular our Scottish wind and solar farms, our Perth, Inverness offices and our Markinch CHP. You will maintain your own diary, so can decide how often you need to be at our sites, and when you do need to travel, this will be at our expense. You'll also be given a car allowance of £440 pcm to reflect this travel requirement. Requirements Job Requirements and Experience Delivery of a coordinated approach to Occupational Health and Wellbeing management for all RWE UK Companies, managing service within legal framework Assist business in delivery of their health and wellbeing services e.g. fitness for work medicals, health surveillance, case management, sickness, absence management, management referrals, business travel health and health promotion (wellbeing events at the sites) Support in delivery of targeted successful campaigns based on data analysis that deliver improvements in the Health and Wellbeing of employee cohort Actively seeks to work closely with key stakeholders, HR and business leads to deliver an enhancement in the service Seeks benchmark data and information on best practice methods and works with a continuous improvement mind-set.
