LEAD CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

Description
As Construction Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and management activities. You will be based on-site and report to the Company Director/Operations Manager, who oversees all in-house Phase 2 Construction teams. Your role includes managing and supporting site teams, fostering a healthy work culture while meeting deadlines and quality assurance measures.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
* Have a sound understanding and intricate knowledge of the plans, consent requirements, and specifications of allocated jobs prior to commencing construction.
* Complete site inspections or meetings before jobs start to address any hazards or issues.
* Be proactive in recognizing issues and discussing them with Management to find solutions.
* Understand your build programme and deadlines.
* Attend and engage in all construction and branch meetings, providing relevant feedback and progress updates.
* Maintain sites in a clean and tidy manner, representing Phase 2 Construction positively.
* Help streamline the build process for efficiency.
* Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet construction programme requirements and secure them from theft and weather.
* Monitor work completed against time allowances and advise Management.
* Be hands-on and on the tools to meet project timelines.
HEALTH & SAFETY
* Work safely and lead by example through appropriate safety attitudes and behaviours.
* Understand and abide by Phase 2 Construction Health and Safety policies and relevant documentation, including a zero-tolerance Drug and Alcohol Policy.
* Ensure all workers under your control understand and abide by Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Complete Health and Safety site requirements before any work starts, including site inductions, hazard boards, and sign in/out procedures.
* Conduct regular Tool Box meetings.
* Be aware of hazards or sub-contractors failing to adhere to Health and Safety requirements and report accordingly.
* Follow the Health and Safety process for non-compliance actions, near misses, or injuries on site.
* Assist in regular site safety inspections and record appropriately.
* Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times by you and all other staff (provided to you).
OTHER
* Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures at all times.
* Maintain and respect personal, company, and client equipment, property, and plant.
* Perform any other reasonable, relevant, and lawful duties as required by the Management Team.
