We are looking for a dynamic registered nurse to work in our Eye Services at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup and Orpington Hospital. The service offers a comprehensive opportunity to learn a new and interesting specialty or progress in your current ophthalmic role, skills, and knowledge.
We seek someone who embraces change and works with the care group to implement new ways of working, always keeping the patient at the center of all they do.
You will care for patients attending their eye appointment or procedure, coordinate clinical activity, complete various diagnostic eye tests, assist with ocular procedures, and use your holistic knowledge to develop pre-assessment and rapid access assessment skills and much more.
You must demonstrate caring qualities, deliver high-quality care with excellent communication skills, and work well in a multi-professional team to ensure patients are supported and move through the department in a timely and safe manner.
If you are motivated, have Ophthalmology experience, or a keen interest in developing as an intravitreal injector, then please apply.
