We are looking for an exceptional Global Sales Manager to join Oliver Valves – a very profitable business specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of high-quality valves primarily serving industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical and hydrogen industries.
With entities in the UK, Dubai, Malaysia, and India, together with an established global distribution network capturing world-wide demand, we are seeking an individual who can continue to spearhead our expansion and maintain profitable growth.
This is not just another sales manager role. This is a sizeable opportunity with exceptional career growth potential in a profitable business turnover £100m. Within a few years, the successful candidate will have the chance to progress to a Board-level appointment, with a clear path towards succession for the Managing Director role.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven Leadership Experience: You will have demonstrated success in leading teams and managing businesses across diverse international regions, particularly the UK, UAE, Dubai, Malaysia, and India. Your leadership will drive performance, foster innovation, and maintain operational excellence across multiple territories.
* Strategic Thinker with Strong Business Acumen: You will possess a sharp understanding of business dynamics and market conditions, with the ability to develop and implement strategies that deliver sustainable, profitable growth. You should be comfortable with P&L management, forecasting, and resource allocation.
* Industry Expertise: Ideally, you will have experience in the valve sector. A background in valve technology, distribution, or sales will give you a distinct advantage, but we are also open to applicants from related engineering or industrial markets with a strong sales focus.
* Proven Track Record in Driving Profitable Growth: You must have experience managing both sales and operational teams to deliver year-on-year growth, identifying new market opportunities, and expanding market share in competitive sectors.
* Strong Communication & Management Skills: You will need to be adept at building strong relationships with clients, and key partners across different cultures and regions. Your leadership will be crucial in engaging and motivating diverse teams to exceed business goals.
