Senior Sourcing, Compliance, and Sustainability Manager

A leading UK-based fashion company is seeking an experienced Apparel, Footwear, and Accessories Sourcing Consultant to help align their global sourcing operations with the European Union’s new Digital Product Passport (DPP) regulations.
About the Role
As a Sourcing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our global supply chain meets the upcoming compliance standards for digital product transparency and sustainability. You will work closely with our Global Sourcing team, suppliers, and cross-functional partners to develop strategies, processes, and systems that facilitate DPP implementation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Compliance Initiatives: Ensure all products across apparel, accessories, and footwear categories comply with EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) regulations.
* Data Management & Transparency: Collaborate with suppliers to digitally track and document materials, production processes, and sustainability data.
* Supplier Engagement: Train and support suppliers in implementing traceability and reporting systems to meet DPP requirements.
* Cross-Functional Coordination: Work alongside sourcing, product development, and compliance teams to integrate DPP-compliant procedures into existing PLM and ERP systems.
* Process Optimization: Develop efficient workflows that align with DPP mandates, ensuring cost-effective, scalable solutions.
* Sustainability & Compliance Reporting: Establish key metrics for monitoring supplier compliance and sustainability impact.
* Risk Management: Identify potential sourcing risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure regulatory compliance without compromising cost or quality.
Required skills and experience:
* Proven experience in sourcing, supply chain management, or procurement within apparel, accessories, or footwear sector.
* In-depth understanding of EU regulatory frameworks, particularly the Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements.
* Experience working with PLM/ERP systems.
* Strong background in sustainability, traceability, and supply chain transparency.
* Ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively with global suppliers and stakeholders.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex compliance data and translate it into actionable strategies.
* Excellent communication and project management skills.
