Business Development Manager – Home Based – ARD1057771 We’re looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our team. This pivotal role, reporting to our Head of Client Development, offers the flexibility of being home based and the ability to generate opportunities in our Offices throughout the North of the UK. You will play a crucial role in driving Towergate Employee Benefits growth strategy, focusing on increasing revenue and expanding our market presence through our SME/Mid-Corporate Field Sales Team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the company’s customer proposition, ensuring we continue to meet and exceed the needs of our clients. So, what does the role of a Business Development Manager here involve? This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all the following: Performance management of the team to deliver high quality customer outcomes. Generate Growth for our Existing clients through our client contact strategy. Delivery of additional revenue growth through client referrals across our Business. Identify and develop additional external lead sources through Introducer/Referral relationships. Liaison with colleagues to ensure the identification and successful conversion of joint prospects. Delivery of profitable income growth through management of a field-based Sales Team servicing medium size SME (B2B) customers face to face, and delivery of associated Renewal and New Business income targets. Manage relationships with insurance and Health & Wellbeing providers to deliver high quality outcomes for Towergate Employee Benefits and our customers. Establish contact and develop relationships at the highest level within the client’s company. What experience does our next Business Development Manager need? Experience of successful management of sales teams delivering income targets. Experience of supporting proposition development, in respect to products, services and/or client servicing propositions. A confident public speaker with good presentation skills. A clear and effective communicator, whether verbally or in the written form, and able to adjust their communication style to suit the audience (clients, staff, management colleagues, senior management).
