Deputy Manager - Adult Disabilities Service

Salary: £31,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday (On-call required 1 in 5 days)
P4 Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a respected client for a Deputy Manager to join a specialist service supporting adults with severe and complex needs. About the Service:
The service supports six adults with learning disabilities and autism in their own apartments.
Some individuals may have an associated mental health diagnosis.
Service users are part of the Care and Treatment Review program in line with the Transforming Care Agenda, supporting people to live in homes, not hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Assist in the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring high-quality care and support.
✔ Build strong relationships with service users, supporting their individual needs and well-being.
✔ Promote and maintain a positive workplace culture, ensuring a strong team environment.
✔ Conduct weekly audits to maintain service quality and compliance.
✔ Support staff training and mentor junior team members to encourage professional development.
✔ Take part in on-call duties (1 in every 5 days) to ensure service continuity.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (minimum requirement) - further training to Level 5 will be provided.
Excellent English language skills - both written and verbal.
Strong people skills with the ability to build positive relationships with service users.
A team player with a proactive, positive attitude.
Experience in audits, safeguarding, and compliance is desirable but not essential.
