Teaching Assistant in Chelmsford
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher in a primary school. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the growth and development of students, assisting talented teachers in delivering engaging lessons and making a positive impact on young learners’ lives. You’ll be working across a variety of subjects and age groups, providing both individual and group support to students.

Key role responsibilities:
* Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm, no weekends!
* Support pupils and encourage a smooth running of their daily routine in the classroom.
* Support class teacher to prepare materials and carry out activities.
* Follow instructions from teachers and re-teach in small groups or 1:1 support.
* Promote a safe and inviting learning environment.
The ideal candidate:
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Patient and can remain calm in stressful situations
* Enjoys working with other people and part of a team
* Previous experience working in a school/childcare setting.
* Minimum grade C(4) in GCSE Mathematics and English.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
