Role summary The Portfolio Manager is the first point of contact for clients, in the day to day running of their portfolio they will ensure that they provide high quality customer service. They will be responsible for managing the clients expectations and maintaining the performance of the client assets whilst ensuring all contractual obligations are met. Gaining or expanding on solar knowledge throughout is a main part of the role to ensure that the best care is being given to the asset. Main responsibilities Client facing duties Primary point of contact for Asset Owner and Asset Management Regular communications, notifications, impact assessments and co-ordination with Asset Owner representatives; including periodic performance meetings Responsible for ensuring our client delivers on all aspects of the O&M contracts Carrying out all services listed in the contract scope within the contract timeframes Carrying out additional services as agreed by the client Liaising with the monitoring team about the performance of the sites to be able to inform the client and create actions to remediate Taking action to ensure we meet or exceeds the guaranteed level of availability You must gain knowledge of your clients O&M contracts and solar asset status in terms of open issues and activity plans Development, submission and closing of proposals to optimise performance of your portfolio Organising solar farm site visits for internal quality inspection, customer tours, issue co-ordination and resolution Liaison with landowners as needed, including ensuring they undertake site inductions, they are satisfied with the condition of the land, resolving any issues they have, and liaising with them in relation to grazing licences (where relevant) Internal facing duties Asset monitoring to support the Service Delivery requirements Answering the office phone On call duty in support of Service Delivery rota Contract budget and profitability responsibility Asset and O&M contract performance reviews with key internal teams Engagement and compliance with all the aspects of updating internal systems Person specification Essential criteria: Previous experience in client relations Ability to communicate client needs with the team and to engage with other parts of the business to ensure they resolve clients’ issues in a timely manner Ability to manage multiple workstreams and relationships simultaneously. Ability to put proposals together and help clients understand the rationale and the benefits of implementing them An excellent listener and strong communication skills Good team player Organisational skills Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines Works well under pressure Flexibility and willingness to learn Ability to work independently Desirable criteria: Experience of working in Accounts with Sage Asset Management experience Knowledge of Renewables
