Football Club Secretary
Part- Time (Hours to suit)

Unique opportunity to join a thriving grass roots football club in the heart of Ipswich, the role will take on a number of different duties including match day correspondence, organising meetings, maintaining records, and ensuring the club functions effectively, acting as a central point of contact both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administration & Organization:
* Managing club correspondence: Handling all internal and external communications (e.g., with leagues, County FA, members, etc.).
* Organizing meetings: Planning and facilitating club meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring actions are followed up.
* Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of membership, registrations, team affiliations, contact details, and club documents (e.g., constitution).
* Ensuring compliance: Adhering to club rules, league regulations, and FA guidelines.
* Handling paperwork: Managing club insurance, filing injury claims, and other administrative tasks.
Communication & Liaison:
* Acting as a point of contact: Being the main point of contact for members, officials, and external stakeholders.
* Facilitating communication: Ensuring smooth communication between the committee, sub-committees, members, and other clubs.
* Working with other club officials: Collaborating with the chairperson, registrar, and other officers.
General Club Operations:
* Ensuring effective policies and procedures: Overseeing football administration practices and maintaining databases.
* Monitoring player contractual situations and work permit status: Ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Ensuring fixture scheduling meets the club's needs: Working with the league to schedule matches.
* Supporting the club's safeguarding officers: Implementing initiatives for child protection and disability compliance.
