SO, WHAT'S THE STORY?
Global Supply Chain Finance is responsible for DM's most significant cost base, covering everything from sourcing materials and footwear production to managing our Distribution Centres and delivering our iconic products to stores and customers globally.
THE GIG
This role will support our Made In England (MIE) factory, in Wollaston, Northamptonshire, as it progresses towards becoming a centre of excellence. As our Finance Analyst, you'll be the go-to finance partner, providing critical financial support and analysis that drives smart decision-making in line with the Supply Chain strategy. You will bring a solid grasp of end-to-end Supply Chain.
As our Finance Analyst - MIE Factory you will be responsible for:
1. Providing finance business partnering to the MIE factory, supporting manufacturing output targets and budget setting.
2. Producing monthly management accounts by tracking headcount, production volumes, and raw material usage to monitor costs accurately.
3. Assisting in delivering financial analysis to Supply Chain & Finance teams, driving decision-making and cost optimisation initiatives.
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
Put simply, for this role the key things we're looking for are:
1. Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with strong Excel skills and experience with Finance systems (ideally D365).
2. Proven ability to analyse complex data sets, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting data clearly and building relationships quickly with stakeholders.
